Goal:
The goal of this project was to develop a comprehensive strategic communication plan for the Three Rivers Foundation, a charitable organization associated with the Three Rivers Casino and Resort. The foundation aims to support various local causes across Oregon, focusing on education, health, public safety, arts, environment, and more. The primary objective of the project was to enhance public awareness, acceptance, and engagement with the foundation's philanthropic activities, particularly highlighting the foundation's impact and mission.

The project included several key components:
Background & Company History: Provided an overview of the Three Rivers Foundation and its connection to the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, as well as the Three Rivers Casino and Resort.
Situation Analysis: Conducted PEST (Political, Economic, Social, Technological) and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analyses to understand the internal and external environment impacting the foundation.
Environmental Scan: Assessed the current state of the foundation's public image and community engagement.
Target Audience Identification: Defined and segmented target audiences, focusing on local residents and potential donors.
Communication Strategies & Tactics: Developed specific strategies, including creating a bi-weekly newsletter, enhancing website content, organizing community events, and leveraging local media to reach different audience segments.
Evaluation Metrics: Set criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the communication efforts, including tracking engagement rates, survey responses, and community feedback.
Budget and Timeline: Outlined the financial plan and timeline for implementing the communication strategies.
